Join the Boston Malaria Coordinating Council!

Application to Join the Boston Area
Malaria Coordinating Council (Boston MCC)
Interested in learning from other groups in Boston to make a difference?  Join the Boston MCC.  The Boston MCC is a council that will be made up of representatives from Boston area schools, universities, youth groups, and young professional associations.  As a Coordinating Council, the MCC’s mandate is not to organize joint events, but rather to offer members an opportunity to exchange ideas about similar campaigns going on in their own communities.  MCC members will also have the option to reach out to other representatives for help developing and implementing their own events.
In this way, the MCC provides both an opportunity for mentorship within the council, as well as an opportunity for members to grow as leaders.  Optional leadership training sessions will also be available. We are primarily looking for members that will work to mobilize members of their own communities (school, service group, congregation, etc.) to support the malaria eradication campaign.
Obligations as a member of the MCC include: regular attendance at MCC meetings as well as participation in the MCC list serve which will keep members up to date in between meetings.  The MCC will meet 1-2 times a month to collaborate on malaria themed events, allowing representatives to offer guidance and assistance to other MCC members, and streamlining Boston area malaria campaigns.
To apply to join the MCC, please email your responses to the following questions to BostonMalariaCoCo@gmail.com by February 25th.  Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, so early applications are encouraged.  Alternatively, if you prefer, you can post your application to:
