Leicester’s First Multi-Faith Fundraiser Dinner in Aid of World Malaria Day
This year Sunday 25th of April will mark World Malaria Day. The 'Leicester Interfaith Youth Hub' in partnership with the St Philips Centre of Leicester will be hosting Leicester’s first multi-faith fundraising dinner to raise money to purchase and distribute bed nets in Africa
Malaria kills someone every thirty seconds, this is something entirely preventable and young people from across different faith backgrounds here in Leicester are spearheading a new movement to help end deaths caused by this disease.
Plans are already underway, and members of the Interfaith Youth Hub have dreamed up some spectacular entertainment to accompany the three course meal.
Watch this space for more info and be sure to mark the 25th of April down on in your diaries!!
