World Malaria Day - it’s coming!

World Malaria Day, April 25th, is a focal point for the global effort to eradicate malaria deaths - and this year Pritpal and I will be bringing our message of multi-faith action against this preventable and treatable disease to Birmingham.  We'll be at the Vaisakhi Mela community fair in Handsworth Park on April 25th to raise awareness of the issue, and to raise some funds to fight it!  Tony Blair, patron of the Faith Foundation, has kindly recorded a video message in support of the Mela which we'll be posting shortly.

Last year over 100,000 people came along to the fair and this year we and our wonderful team of young volunteers will be making sure everyone knows that we can - and must - make Malaria No More.
