Katie Myers is a Christian who grew up on the continents of Europe, Africa, and North America. She now calls St. Louis, MO "home" and is thrilled to be working in Portland, for the next 8 months. Katie hopes to participate in building God’s kingdom on this earth by living justly and showing mercy and is excited to learn what motivates others to work toward fighting global poverty. Erin Toolis is a 23 year old Buddhist originally from the village of Lisbon, Ohio. She graduated from Denison University in 2008 with a B.S. in psychology and spent the last year working at an art center for homeless youth in Seattle, Washington. Erin will be spending the next eight months with Micah Challenge in Portland, Oregon, where she is excited to spread the light and love of interfaith action.
