  • World Malaria Day 2012: A Critical Moment for Reversing Spread of Malaria

    Posted on 25/04/2012
Charles Dickens' depiction of Magwitch grabbing Pip has stuck in my mind and, I suspect, in the mind of generations of scared school boys who watched or read "Great Expectations." The Kent churchyard, with its "lozenge shaped" tomb stones, in "marsh country down by the river," is now firmly on the literary tourist trail during the Dickens 200th anniversary.

In this, our third annual International Day, it was evident that members have gone from being colleagues to collaborators, and even perhaps from acquaintances to friends.

  • Report: Global Health and Africa | Assessing Faith Work and Research Priorities

    Posted on 16/04/2012
Faith communities, especially at the community level, contribute in countless ways to health care. • Face to Faith Inspires at Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development Conference

    Posted on 27/03/2012
“I am a technology teacher, and I came to this session on Face to Faith because I am concerned about bullying and a lack of civility in my own school and classroom. Most of that disrespect is because of faith differences and this program looks like it might help.” This comment came from a teacher who attended a presentation given by Dr. Charles Haynes, myself, and teacher Kathy Wildman at the Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development’s (ASCD) Annual Conference on March 26 was just one of several that highlighted the need that Face to Faith can fill in U.S.
