Face to Faith teacher training a big success in Washington

Teachers from 3 American States - Virginia, California, and Utah came to the 2 day training workshop that we've just finished at the Newseum in Washington DC. We were very lucky to have such an amazing venue - with views overlooking the capitol; we had two rooms - one for the workshop, one for refreshments, and a terrace overlooking Pennsylvania Avenue.

width="371" />We recently ran a competition looking for ideas to improve the existing RESPECT principles poster. We asked all our students to offer us designs that we could use to inspire professional graphic artists who will be re-designing the poster to make it more eye-catching and exciting.

Much to talk about as Face to Faith co-ordinators gathered in London

We’ve just had the most amazing few days, working with our country coordinators from around the world – a fabulously energizing group of people whose enthusiasm for the programme is driving it forward in a number of regions. It was great to bring together all the people that I had been working with at the training events around the world, and see them working together so well as such a close, dedicated team – as several of them commented, it was almost like a “Face to Faith Family”.
