Education Projects

The Foundation aims to help people better understand the complex interrelationship of faith and globalisation. We provide ways to learn more about religion’s relevance to the modern world, and practical projects so that people of different faiths can work together to show they are a force for good in the world.
Our emphasis is on action and product – as evidenced by the work of our Social Action and Education Programs. Yet, we also go beyond this, and will actively support initiatives that are integral to our central mission of understanding the interrelationship of faith and globalisation.
On the education side, we always look beyond the classroom – to campus and to the broader community. We work with partners to help create knowledge, but then we are focused on the implementation and dissemination of knowledge For example, an integral part of our university hub initiative is to use the resources of the university to problem solve in the wider world.
Social Action: at a grassroots level these ideas are then put "Into Practice" by our volunteers on the ground who are working with those of other faiths and of none to affect positive change. Click here to view some case studies of "You in Action."
A key theme of our work to date has been faith and development, where we have brought together both our education and social action side of our work to raise awareness around the role of the Faith and Development, and to problem solve around the fuller integration of the faith communities into public health in Africa.
In future we expect to focus on various different themes under the faith and globalisation umbrella.
